Osteoarthritis is the most common cause of chronic pain in dogs. It builds silently, often years before the first limp.
Yes - and that is arguably when it makes most sense. In the 2024 study, nearly 4 in 10 dogs under four already had joint changes on X-ray, yet only 2 of them were receiving any joint care.
Welova is suitable for adult dogs of all ages, for growing large breeds, and for active or working dogs.

Use the scoop provided, once a day, mixed into their food. Up to 15 kg: 1 scoop. 16-30 kg: 2 scoops. 31-45 kg: 3 scoops. Over 45 kg: 4 scoops. For the first 4 to 6 weeks you can double the daily amount, then go back to the standard dose - this is the manufacturer's loading protocol. Do not exceed twice the recommended daily amount.
Most owners notice a change after 6 to 8 weeks of daily use. We recommend at least 3 months of continuous use, because cartilage support builds up gradually. Every dog is different - some respond sooner, some need the full course.
It is a powder with a natural chicken flavour, so it goes straight into the bowl and mixes with their normal food - no pills to hide. If your dog is fussy, mix it into something wet for the first few days.
Yes. Joint changes often start long before any limping - in one 2024 study, nearly 4 in 10 dogs aged 8 months to 4 years already showed changes on X-ray. It is suitable for adult dogs of all breeds, for growing large breeds, and for active or working dogs. Not for puppies under 12 weeks, or pregnant and lactating bitches, without veterinary advice.
Welova is a complementary feed, not a medicine, and is generally given alongside other care. If your dog is on any treatment or has a health condition, check with your vet first - they know your dog's history.
Side effects are rare and mainly digestive - loose stools in the first few days for sensitive dogs. Introducing it gradually usually solves it. Contains shellfish (green lipped mussel), so avoid if your dog has a known shellfish allergy.
